RCMP Driver Training Facility

Working for Public Works Government Services Canada, this project involved constructing a “state of the art” driver-training track where a 6 hectare forested parcel of land once stood on the former CFB Chilliwack site.  The Construction included clearing, excavation, installation of all underground utilities, including a detailed sprinkler system designed to flood the pavement and simulate hydroplaning.  The project also included placement of Geotextile and installation over 16,000 tonnes of Granular materials as well as approx. 4,000 tonnes of asphalt.
