RBRC Combo

COMPLETED IN 2014

The Roberts Bank Rail Corridor (RBRC) Combo Project is an $88M Design-Build transportation improvement initiative comprising three new grade-separated structures over an active railway line at 192 Street, 54 Avenue and 196 Street in Surrey and Langley, BC. The 196 Street structure also carries traffic over busy Highway 10. The Project was delivered by the City of Surrey on behalf of the Roberts Bank Rail Corridor Program Partners.

The project features grade construction in compressible soils, light weight embankment fill construction (EPS), realignment of municipal roads, utility liaisons, traffic management, railway management, CTA permitting approvals, lighting and signalization. The design phase of the project was completed in September 2012 and substantial completion was achieved mid-2014.
